Kate Belinis, Chair of Stevenage World Forum, attended the celebration and said, “ Having accepted the invitation to join Satsang Mandal’s Celebrations, I didn’t know what to expect! However, I was made most welcome and joined in the prayers, offerings, some dancing and played the mini cymbals and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The food at the end completed the celebration. It was deliciously prepared by members of Satsang Mandal. They worked tirelessly to ensure that their identity is celebrated and remains a focus for their community. My personal thanks to the Chair, Mrs Parmar for the invitation and education.”
